About The Clip Joint

From the moment you walk in, you will feel the love we have for all dogs, great and small. We have been grooming dogs since 1990, and we love what we do — and it shows in every dog who leaves our shop looking and feeling great.

Loving Dogs Since 1990

The Clip Joint opened its doors in 1990, and for over 35 years we have been a fixture of the South St. Louis community. Some of our clients have been coming to us for more than 15 years. We have watched puppies grow into seniors and welcomed the next dog into the same family. That kind of long relationship is the heart of who we are.

We Treat Every Dog Like Family

We care for your dogs like they were our own — because to us, that is exactly what they are. Every dog gets patient, gentle handling and grooming tailored to their coat, age, and temperament. That is the standard we have held for over three decades, and it is why families keep coming back.
