Our Story Since 1990

The Clip Joint began in 1990 with a simple belief: dogs deserve grooming done with love. More than 35 years later, that belief still guides every bath, brush, and haircut on Lemay Ferry Road.

A Small Shop With a Big Heart

We started as a small grooming shop on Lemay Ferry Road, and we have grown mostly through word of mouth — one happy dog and one satisfied family at a time. We never set out to be the biggest groomer in St. Louis. We set out to be the one families trust with the dogs they love.

Generations of Loyal Clients

Many of our clients have been with us for over 15 years, and we now groom dogs whose owners first came to us as children. That continuity is everything. It means we did something right, and it means we have to keep doing it — every dog, every visit, for another 35 years.
