Teeth Brushing

Dental disease is one of the most common — and most overlooked — health issues in dogs. Our teeth brushing service helps fight plaque and freshen breath between your veterinary dental cleanings.

Brushing Done the Right Way

We use enzymatic pet toothpaste and a soft brush to clean the visible surfaces of your dog's teeth. It is a quick, low-stress addition to any groom and helps slow tartar buildup between professional veterinary cleanings. We never use human toothpaste, which is unsafe for dogs.

Part of Whole-Dog Wellness

Good grooming is about more than a pretty coat. Clean teeth, clean ears, and trimmed nails all add up to a healthier, more comfortable dog. Many St. Louis clients add teeth brushing to every visit so their dog gets used to it — and so their breath stays kissable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does teeth brushing replace veterinary dental care?

No. Our brushing is a maintenance service that slows tartar between professional cleanings. Your vet should still perform dental exams and cleanings as recommended.
