Doodle Grooming

Doodles are wonderful — and their coats are notoriously tricky. That loose, curly hair loves to tangle, and a doodle groom done wrong turns into a sad shave-down. We do it right.

Keeping That Doodle Look You Love

To keep the fluffy, teddy-bear look, the coat has to be dried thoroughly and brushed line by line before any scissoring. We take the time to do this so your doodle keeps the full, rounded face and legs you love. When mats are too deep, we will always explain your options honestly.

A Realistic Plan for Maintenance

Doodle coats are high maintenance, and we will give you straight advice about what length is realistic for your brushing habits. A shorter body with a kept face is a popular, practical compromise that keeps your dog cute and mat-free between visits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my doodle get matted so fast?

Doodle coat is a mix of hair and fleece that tangles at the base. Thorough drying, line brushing, and grooming every 4 to 6 weeks are the best defense against matting.
